Fried rice with basil and chicken

It's not that difficult. Cook the rice in a double boiler - you should get two cups of it. As always, Thai chicken is thin strips of fillet without skin and bones. For this dish we need a spoon of basil paste. We fry it over low heat for one minute. After this, add the chicken and cook for seven minutes. After this time we put green pea and boiled rice. Mix. Pour in two tablespoons of fish sauce and sprinkle with a little sugar. In another frying pan, fry two tablespoons of chopped shallots and a few cloves of garlic. Sprinkle these spices over the rice that has already been removed from the heat. Decorate with cubes fresh cucumber and a fried egg.

Thai chicken with tomato and onion has a rich spicy taste, very soft and juicy. Lovers of sweetish meat will like this chicken, however, if you do not consider yourself one of those, then remove the honey from the marinade. It is better to start cooking meat a few hours before lunch or dinner, as it is advisable to let the chicken marinate for an hour or two. Then its taste will be brighter and richer. If there is no time for marinating, then you can pour the marinade into a frying pan and simmer the meat and vegetables in it.

  • boneless chicken meat – 500 g,
  • 1 large tomato,
  • 1 large onion,
  • 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil,
  • 1 tbsp. l. honey,
  • 100 ml soy sauce,
  • 1.5 tbsp. l. flour,
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic,
  • 1 tsp. ground curry.

How to cook chicken the Thai way

1. Wash boneless chicken meat and trim off any excess. You can also use meat with bones, but the pieces should not be large - so that everything has time to fry and is soft.

2. Wash the tomato and chop finely. Remove the peel from the onion and cut it as desired - into cubes or halves of rings.

3. Heat refined oil in a frying pan. By the way, you can also use butter. Fry the chicken pieces on all sides over high heat. It should brown slightly.

4. Add onions and tomatoes to the pan, stir and simmer everything together over low heat so that the vegetables do not burn.

5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, peeled garlic cloves and ground curry. Use a blender to make the sauce smoother.

6. After 15 minutes of stewing the chicken with vegetables, pour soy-honey sauce into the frying pan, stir and simmer over low heat for 5-7 minutes. Keep in mind that honey caramelizes quickly, so the meat may burn or stick. If you want a more spicy dish, add ground red pepper at this stage.

  • Grind the garlic and black pepper. Mix them with soy sauce, honey and essence.
  • Marinate the chicken pieces in the mixture for 40 minutes.
  • Fry them in vegetable oil until half cooked. A beautiful crust is your guide.
  • Cut the sweet pepper into thin strips and onion- half rings. Add vegetables to chicken.
  • After 5-7 minutes, add the marinade to the frying pan or stewing pan and simmer covered for 30 minutes.

  • chicken breast fillet – 0.5 kg;
  • onion heads – 2 pcs.;

  • soy sauce – 50 ml;

  • garlic cloves – 2 pcs.;
  • wheat flour – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • ground pepper – 0.5 tsp;
  • 20 ml sunflower oil.

How we will cook:

2. Cut the fillet into strips, not finely. Chop the onion head and pepper into strips.

Authentic Chicken Recipe – with coconut milk. For preparation you will need natural lemon leaves. Purchase them in advance. Or substitute the juice of half a medium lemon.

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet– 700 gr.;
  • onion head – 1 pc.;
  • coconut milk – 0.5 l;
  • green curry paste – 1 tsp. (with a slide);
  • 1 tsp. salt;
  • sugar – 2 tsp;
  • 40 gr. ginger root;
  • 4-5 lemon leaves;
  • 460 gr. long grain rice.

How to cook step by step:

  1. Cut the onion into strips into a saucepan. Pour in coconut milk. Leave to simmer over low heat.
  2. Free poultry meat from fat and skin. Cut into strips, then into smaller cubes. Mix with curry paste. Transfer to onion. Stir.
  3. Add salt and sweeten. Stir. Simmer over moderate heat. Do not cover the pan with a lid.
  4. Peel the ginger. First cut into thin slices, then into strips. Add to the bird along with the lemon leaves. Stir. Leave on low heat.
  5. Rinse the rice. Place into boiling water. Cook until al dente. The grains should be soft, but not boiled. Rinse hot water through a sieve. It is convenient to rinse the cereal in portions.

Serve rice on a plate. Pour sauce over vegetables and poultry. You've got a real Thai dinner.

Chicken with pineapple Thai style

  • the same amount of red pepper;
  • soy sauce – 2 tbsp. l.;

  • onion head – 1 pc.;
  • bell pepper – 1 pc.;
  • potato starch – 3 tsp;
  • 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste;
  • 1 pinch of ground ginger;
  • sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
  • pineapples – 50 gr.;
  • chili pepper - tip;
  • green onion feathers - for decoration.

Preparation:

  1. Cut the meat into portions. Mix with ground peppers, soy sauce, starch and sugar.
  2. Heat liquid oil in a wok pan. Fry chicken pieces on it.
  3. Chop the onion and pepper coarsely. Add to meat. Stir. Leave for 2 minutes. Stir again.
  4. Cut the pineapple into thin pieces. Use fresh fruit or canned fruit.
  5. Add tomato paste. Sprinkle with ginger. Stir. Leave to fry for 5-7 minutes.

  • poultry meat – 300 gr.;
  • garlic cloves – 3 pcs.;
  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • bell pepper – 1 pc.;
  • 100 gr. cashew nuts;
  • 0.5 tsp. sweet paprika;
  • oyster sauce - 2 tbsp. l.;
  • 1 tbsp. l. palm sugar;
  • soy sauce – 1 tsp;
  • fish sauce - the same amount;
  • sunflower oil – 1 tbsp. l.;
  • a bunch of green onions - for serving.

Cooking step by step:

  1. Cut the poultry and pepper into strips. Press the garlic through a press. Cut the onion feathers into fragments. Smaller onion head.
  2. Separately for pouring, mix oyster and soy sauces. Add fish. Add palm oil and paprika. Stir.
  3. Fry cashews in oil in a frying pan until golden brown. Add sweet pepper. Sauté for 2 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  4. Place chicken, garlic, and onion in the pan. Pour in the filling and 2-3 tablespoons of boiled hot water. Simmer for 10 minutes.

2. Place the meat in a deep bowl, pour over soy sauce, stir so that all the chicken is in the sauce, cover with a lid or plate and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.


3. Let's do the vegetables. Chop the onion into thin half rings, the pepper into strips, and the carrot into cubes. Pass the garlic through a garlic press or grate it on a fine grater, as usual.


4. Let's return to the chicken. Drain the soy sauce from it into a separate plate, we will need it later.

5. Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the chicken and fry for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, do not cover. Transfer the chicken to a plate, and add peppers, carrots and onions to the pan, fry for 5 minutes, stirring, without a lid. Add chicken and garlic, pour in dry wine and honey, stir and cook over medium heat for another 5-7 minutes. Not everyone has liquid honey. I melt it in the microwave. Place the thickened honey in it for just a couple of seconds and it will become liquid.


6. Mix starch with soy sauce in which the chicken was marinated. Pour into the pan, stir, turn the heat to high and cook for 5 minutes. Serve. Bon appetit! If desired, you can sprinkle the dish with green onions.
