Basil the singer real name. Basil is a new star

Basil- a modern musician whose songs everyone knows. The first hit “Ay-yay-ya” was first heard at the end of 2014, in the famous television series “Fizruk”. Exactly 7 seconds, and the song soared in the Shazam ranking to 15th place, becoming the most searched song among Russian-speaking artists.

Following this, the song began to conquer all the largest radio stations in the CIS, and to this day is in hot rotation.

Following this, new songs were released: “Kolya”, “My May”, “Look for Another” and new song“Hurricane”, all of them are regularly played on radio stations, just as all the clips are in rotation on top music TV channels.

In the summer of 2016, Basil released a joint song with the famous rap artist Dzhigan, the song “Ready for Anything,” and the video and song are currently in the top 10 most popular in the CIS.

Modern music is rapidly changing, transforming forms and sound styles. Basil's first album "URAGAN" is modern pop-funk with elements of hip-hop, reggae and good old rock and roll, for this reason Basil performs exclusively with a live group of famous musicians, blowing the minds of listeners at concerts. It’s not enough to listen to this music on a player, you need to see it live.

Basil can be regularly seen on air and entertainment television channels, as a guest or a star character.

Now Basil is working on a new record, with high-quality, modern sound, in best traditions British stage, and most importantly - in Russian. We decided to chat with Basil and get to know him a little better.

Devushka.ru: Few artists perform with a live band every time. Why did you decide to perform with this particular lineup?

Basil: Modern world and the economy of customers dictate their terms to artists, because it is much more profitable to invite a star without an orchestra, although not everyone knows that almost all stars have their own musicians.
The reason why we perform as a group is very simple, my songs only sound good live, the way they were recorded live. It's hard to imagine a rock star singing along to a soundtrack, the reason for it all is the same.

Devushka.ru: This is much more difficult... How often do you rehearse and how quickly did you get along?

Basil: We've been playing like this all our lives, I'm more surprised by people who sing to minus... But for Russia this is in the order of things, all national festivals don't bother at all, there are many artists "sing to minus", live broadcast - "sing to plus", no one does not want to spend extra time and money on installing equipment, the result turns out as it turns out. The exception is DJs and rappers... they have their own atmosphere.
We don’t rehearse that often, we’ve played our songs so many times that you can wake us up in the middle of the night to play.

Devushka.ru: Do you organize so-called apartment parties for your listeners?

Basil: We haven’t done it for fans yet, but we do it regularly with friends and colleagues. By the way, we will do this!

Devushka.ru: What style of music is closest to you and why that particular one?

Basil: I am so open to modern culture that I like everything, every genre has its own thrill, lately I have been interested in the British scene in general, in general European music is now ahead, but this is my feeling.

Devushka.ru: As far as we know, a new record is being prepared now? How long have you been working on it?

Basil: Not for very long, everything is new - nowhere fresher. I've been writing for a couple of months...

Devushka.ru: Will it differ in style from the first album “Hurricane”?

Basil: In my opinion, yes, but I tried to somehow bring the audience to this with the last songs in the hurricane, this is the “hurricane” itself and “my May”.

Devushka.ru: What do you think is the most important thing for any musician?

Basil: Responsiveness! Any.

Devushka.ru: Do you believe in luck? And what does success mean to you?

Basil: Luck, in my opinion, is the initial set of our talents and everyday qualities; we build everything else ourselves, using the tools available to us. Success for me is my new listener.

Devushka.ru: What can’t your day go by without?

Basil: I would like to be original, but it can’t work without music, and food...)

Devushka.ru: Do you have any idols? Maybe people you would like to be like?

Basil: No. There are people whom I like for their characteristics, but I cannot call them idols, they are probably some kind of teachers or examples.

Devushka.ru: I wonder what your life motto is?

Basil: My motto is get up, work hard) I didn’t really think about the motto. Probably the best motto is if something doesn’t suit you, change it.

RoseDonna: How long have you been making music?
Basil: I loved music since childhood, so it was my hobby. Now it has grown into a profession, a job, which is very pleasing. Because the best thing is when you spend your life doing what you love, what you like. Work brings pleasure because it is a hobby. I’ve been studying music full-time for 4 years, and this is just the beginning!

RoseDonna: What inspires you to create?
Basil: Hunger inspires me to create. When I'm hungry, I can do a lot. Of course, trips with friends and travel also inspire.

RoseDonna: Do you follow the latest music trends? What do you remember most?
Basil: I follow musical trends, I always want to be aware of what the audience and people are listening to now. From the latter, I watched the awards of music TV channels. Most memorable was the image of Olga Buzova in a shell at the MuzTV Awards.

RoseDonna: How do you feel about cinema? What films do you prefer?
Basil: I love cinema, I’m always happy to watch absolutely any genre, depending on my mood. European cinema is impressive, Hollywood is extremely rare. But what I love most about French cinema is its strength.

RoseDonna: What is it like to be a star?
Basil: Considering that our people in Moscow are very delicate, it’s quite good that even when they find out, they try not to touch.

RoseDonna: What does sport mean to you?
Basil: Fun in childhood, now more of a necessity. It is important to keep yourself in shape, not only for some external beauty, but also for a healthy inner feeling. Because sport is health, endurance, strength, vigor. When sport becomes part of the daily routine, it does not become as difficult as it might seem at first.

RoseDonna: Do you follow a healthy lifestyle?
Basil: I think, healthy image life is the absence of a program, addiction, professional sports are no less harmful than alcohol, so you need not to depend on anything. Everything in moderation. In general, I strive.

RoseDonna: What are your plans for the summer?
Basil: See the sun. I want to feel the summer atmosphere in the city. It seems to me that this will cheer everyone up and add a positive mood.

RoseDonna: What do you expect from your career in the future?
Basil: Happy time. As I already said, I am for doing what brings pleasure. If you don’t want to work in a particular field, then you shouldn’t spend years of training and practice on something that is unpleasant for you, that doesn’t give you pleasure.

RoseDonna: Let's talk about nutrition. Can we say that you are an adherent (supporter) of proper nutrition?
Basil: I don't eat meat, but I don't consider it exclusive proper nutrition. No one fully knows what is correct, there are many different versions. I think that everyone should choose for themselves what is comfortable for their body, and not follow some templates. Of course, there are things that are harmful for everyone (fast food, various drinks, etc.). The main thing is to choose your diet. Personally, I follow my own rules. I try not to drink food or eat before bed.

RoseDonna: If not music, then what?
Producing.

Frederic Bazille, paintings with titles, biography

The short life of this remarkable French artist did not allow his talent to fully develop and did not leave us with as many works as could be expected with a longer life. Nevertheless, during his 28 years of life, Jean Frederic Basil managed to achieve extremely much and became one of the creators of perhaps the most controversial genre of painting - impressionism.

The future master was born in 1841 in the French city of Montpellier. His parents were wealthy bourgeois of the Protestant faith, who gave the boy a good education. His father was a winemaker, because the Hérault region has always been famous for its warm climate, excellent for growing grapes and growing fruit trees. Perhaps the picturesque natural environment influenced the artistic perception of the future master and became the basis for his unique vision of the world, which was reflected in his canvases.

The formation of the talent and creative style of the future master was greatly influenced by the paintings of the classics of French painting - Gustave Courbet and Eugene Delacroix. Frederick was able to get acquainted with their works and the works of other great masters thanks to the presence of the Fabre Museum in Montpellier, which he often visited during his studies at the city's Lyceum. This museum contains many paintings and graphic works collected by the artist François-Xavier Fabre.

Despite his passion for painting, Basil began studying medicine in 1859. Three years later he went to continue his studies in the capital. There he studied art for two years with the Swiss artist Charles Gleyre. It was during his studies in painting that he befriended Claude Monet, met Auguste Renoir, and became deeply immersed in the process of shaping and developing his own artistic vision.

During his years in Paris, Basil finds himself at the center of modern artistic and artistic bohemia. He meets such famous masters as Paul Cézanne, Armand Guillaumin and Alfred Sisley. Each of them, as well as Renoir and Monet, who were close friends of Frederic, in one way or another had a serious influence on his formation as a master. However, he managed to develop and maintain his own style of writing, as evidenced by his paintings.

Such a creative and advanced environment helped the master master his own style of painting, which gives art historians reason to recognize Basil as the founder of impressionism. Like other representatives of this genre of painting later, he worked a lot in the open air, that is, in the open air, which immediately distinguishes the works of the Impressionists from the classic “sleek” studio paintings of representatives of the old school. Frederick was especially interested in capturing a person surrounded by nature, conveying his state and impressions, sensations and emotions. This is precisely why the new painting radically differed from the old academic manner of painting with its formalism, static or contrived poses and hackneyed subjects.

The master painted for exhibitions in the Paris Salons, as well as to decorate his family’s estate in the vicinity of his hometown of Montpellier. These paintings have been preserved and are now in the largest museums in France. Among them, the most famous are “Pink Dress”, “View of the Village”, “The Artist’s Family on a Terrace near Montpellier”.

When the Franco-Prussian War began, the artist found it impossible for himself to refuse to defend his fatherland and fulfilled his civic duty by volunteering to fight. Unfortunately, the young, talented artist was killed in battle in Burgundy in 1870. He lived only 28 years. Who knows what heights he could have achieved had he lived?

Frederic Basil. Biography. Paintings. Impressionist artists

Jean Frédéric Bazille. 1841-1870

French artist. One of the founders of impressionism. Biography and paintings

Born on December 6, 1841 in France in the city of Montpellier. Frederick's parents dreamed of their son becoming a doctor, but he himself chose a different path. In 1859, Basil began to master medicine. Subsequently, he will move to Paris to gain new knowledge. From this moment on, medicine ceases to occupy Frederic's thoughts; he devotes himself to painting. From 1862 to 1864, Basil studied under the guidance of Charles Gleyre.

A meeting with impressionist artists had a significant influence on the formation of Basil’s life position. Pierre Auguste Renoir, Alfred Sisley, Claude Monet became the young man's friends. The aspiring artist’s home soon became a studio and meeting place for many creative people, and the heroes of Basil’s early works were his artist friends.

These like-minded artists found themselves at the origins of a new movement called impressionism. Based on the creative principles of Manet and Courbet, young people developed their own view of art and life reflected in art.

Basil regularly worked in the open air. He was especially attracted by the image of a person against a background of nature. Frederick's paintings have always been distinguished by skillful work with color and light. Also a large number of Basil's works are devoted to views of Normandy.
All the artist’s works are distinguished by the spirituality of their images. This effect is largely achieved due to bright, light colors, sunlight. Since 1886, he periodically participates in Salons.

One of Basil’s most famous works was the painting “Family Reunion”. It was created in 1867. It was this painting that became a characteristic example of figurative art. The work was presented at the Paris Salon, which was financed by the city authorities.

It is interesting that the picture is autobiographical, since its heroes are members of the artist’s own family. The masterful use of color and masterly description of human figures made this painting a shining example realistic impressionism.

Already next year, the artist exhibits his work “Summer Scene” (“Bathers”) to the public. And this painting was directly related to the artist’s life: the heroes of the work were Basil’s relatives and friends who were bathing in the family estate.

In 1870, the artist went to the Franco-Prussian War as a volunteer. Unfortunately, already on November 28, 1870, Basil died in the battle of Bon-la-Ronde.

Youth of Impressionism – Navody

News from the world of art

Frederic Basil. Bathers (summer scene), 1869

In Paris, the Musée d'Orsay is hosting an exhibition “The Youth of Impressionism”, dedicated to the French artist Frédéric Bazille (1841-1870), one of the founders of impressionism, although less known than other bright names of this artistic movement. By the age of 28, before his death in the Franco-Prussian War in 1870, he managed to write about 60 works.

The most famous picture Basil's "Pink Dress" was written in 1864. The painting shows Frédéric Basile's cousin, Teresa de Ors, whose family often visited Basile's estate in Meric in the summer. The house and surrounding area were slightly higher, overlooking the village. Basil painted Teresa on the terrace at the far end of the garden. She wears a simple dress with vertical pink and silver-gray stripes, and a black apron. Teresa sits with her back to the viewer and looks towards the village, the roofs of the houses are covered with orange colored tiles, typical of that area.

The works at the exhibition are presented in chronological and thematic order - genre scenes, portraits, still lifes, nudes and plein air landscapes. The artist began as a realist and then brilliantly embodied the values of impressionism, a style considered avant-garde in the 1860s. The “face” of the exhibition was the painting “In the Family Circle” from the collection of the Musée d’Orsay. In this group portrait, Basil depicted himself with his parents and brother, uncles, aunts, cousins.

Other key works by the artist are Self-Portrait with Palette, Ramparts at Aigues-Mortes, View of a Village, as well as The Artist's Studio on the Rue La Condamine in Paris and Negress with Peonies.

The exhibition is complemented by works by Eugene Delacroix and Gustave Courbet, thanks to whom Frédéric Basile became interested in painting, as well as his friends - Renoir, Monet, Manet, Sisley, Cézanne and others. The canvases were sent by the Orsay Museum, the National Gallery in Washington, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Petit Palais Museum in Geneva, the Städel in Frankfurt am Main, and the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo.
The Youth of Impressionism exhibition will be open at the Musee d'Orsay until March 5, and then move to the National Gallery in Washington (April 9 - July 9, 2017).
A few more works by Frederic Bazille, confirming the opinion of some art historians that, if not for the Franco-Prussian War, it is quite possible that Bazille would have become the most important and successful impressionist.

Brief biography of the artist
Frederic Bazille was born on December 6, 1841 in the family of a wealthy winemaker in the city of Montpellier. After studying at the Lyceum, he studied medicine. Frequently visiting the Fabre Art Museum, he became interested in painting. The cozy and beautiful museum of the city of Montpellier was named after the artist François Xavier Fabre (1766-1837), a student of one of the most prominent representatives of classicism, Jacques Louis David (1748-1825).
In 1862, Frederic moved to Paris to continue his study of medicine, but he already realized that his vocation did not lie in the medical field, and enrolled in the painting workshop of Charles Gleier. He worked in the workshop until 1864, where he became close with Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet and Alfred Sisley. Basil did not suffer from lack of money and generously shared bread, shelter and money with friends.
In the end, he failed his medical exams, but his parents accepted his choice and did not deprive him of his funds. Basil rented his first workshop in Paris. Monet, Renoir, Sisley in different years they enjoyed his hospitality, lived with him and accepted other gifts from his generosity.
Basil first sent his works to the official Salon in 1866. Then he submitted his works to the Salon annually, and they were, as a rule, accepted, but very selectively.
In the summer of 1870, Frédéric Bazille worked on his parents' estate in Montpellier, and on August 10 he enlisted in the Zouave regiment. And on November 28 he died near Bon-la-Rolande, a few days short of his twenty-nineth birthday, forever remaining a young artist.

Ladies and Gentlemen! Today I am pleased to introduce to your attention a new star of Russian pop music. So, meet - Basil!

Recently, the famous producer Oleg Nekrasov took the work of singer Balil under his wing.

Basil was announced on the production company's website SorokaMusic(http://soroka-music.ru - created by your humble servant) and the work began.

Interesting films were filmed Basil's clips — « Money" And " The Perfect Murder" Getting ready to go out Basil's new video « Ay-ay-ya", the soundtrack of which has already played in the series "Fizruk". In short, work is in full swing...

And today Basil performed the song “ Ay-ay-ya» live ( live) on radio Europe Plus. Nothing characterizes the level of an artist more than a live performance. Live show- this is when there is you, a microphone and musicians. And there is no protective barrier of the phonogram.

Basil performed magnificently - judge for yourself! So, new star national pop music Basil:

Lyrics of the song “Ay-yay-ya” (Bazil)

I will forget everything that you drew me with benefits
I'll try to find out what happiness means without a Ferrari
All you need is a pair of legs and eyes
I have to learn to be alive here and now
For the first time I will leave the entrance without creating a route.
Damn, I forgot my watch, okay, no one is waiting for me anywhere
Well, what's the difference - Tuesday or Friday?
When people smile towards you

Someone might think I'm an idiot
After all, it seems like I’m smiling from ear to ear for no reason.
But believe me, it's much funnier from the outside
Live your whole life with a poker face, but what is more important to you?
I know it’s not customary, but you’ll forgive me
I destroyed Monday in my orbit
And I don't need your mom's approval
If I decided to go ahead, then this is my program
It seems to be winter, but the city is melting underfoot
And I, I go, count the girls I meet with my eyes

Ay-ay-ay, I won’t trust the winds
I want to know the whole world, looking around
Ay-ay-ay, I forgot what happened yesterday
But I remember that there will be a new game tomorrow

Hey, who didn't hide under the shell? It seems there are those
Who needs to change their soft sofa for a flight?
But what difference does it make whether you are there or here?
We absorb everything that arouses keen interest

Ay-ay-ay, I won’t trust the winds
I want to know the whole world, looking around
Ay-ay-ay, I forgot what happened yesterday
But I remember that there will be a new game tomorrow
Ay-ay-ay, I won’t trust the winds
I want to know the whole world, looking around
Ay-ay-ay, I forgot what happened yesterday
But I remember that there will be a new game tomorrow
