Sanatorium-resort recovery has always been considered one of the best ways restore your body after illness and prevent exacerbation of chronic ailments. During the existence of the USSR, treatment vouchers were more financially accessible. Now, buying them can hit your wallet hard, so those who want to improve their health are wondering: how to get to a sanatorium under the compulsory medical insurance program and is it possible to relax there for free?

How to get to a sanatorium under the compulsory medical insurance program and who has the right to it

Unfortunately, you can get a ticket to the health resort by compulsory medical insurance policy maybe not everyone owns it. You can go to a sanatorium for health improvement only for certain indications based on the conclusion of a medical commission. You can get the green light to apply for a free trip to one of the Russian health resorts in 2020 under the following circumstances:

  • the patient is insured in the compulsory insurance system of the Russian Federation and has a valid compulsory medical insurance policy;
  • the patient was subject to surgery or suffered a serious illness.

Among the ailments that are treated at the sanatorium-resort institution are the following:

  • diseases of the heart and blood vessels: myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, angina pectoris, surgery on the heart and blood vessels;
  • diseases of the digestive system: removal gallbladder, operations for gastric and duodenal ulcers, diabetes mellitus;
  • pathologies of the musculoskeletal and central nervous system: orthopedic operations, defects and malformations of the spinal column, spinal surgery, joint plastic surgery, prosthetics;
  • diseases of pregnant women who are at risk.

Good to know! Many people mistakenly believe that the above is a complete list of diseases in the presence of which you can get free trip for preventive treatment in a sanatorium. However, it is not. Full list indications for sanatorium-resort treatment are given in Order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated May 5, 2016 No. 281n. Here you can see such an exhaustive listing various diseases that they can be found in anyone, since this even includes insomnia, bronchitis and scoliosis.

The patient is admitted to the sanatorium for a course of health improvement if he has a referral in hand on form No. 057/u-04. The medical commission gives an opinion if the above indications are present and provided there are no contraindications.

What does the rehabilitation procedure in a sanatorium consist of?

After admission to a treatment facility, the patient undergoes an examination so that they can select a rehabilitation program for him. This is a set of preventive and therapeutic measures aimed at restoring the body’s strength after an illness or alleviating the consequences of a congenital pathology. The rehabilitation procedure includes the following main activities:

  • reflexology, physiotherapy and a course of healing massages;
  • physical therapy classes;
  • dietary nutrition;
  • psychotherapeutic sessions.

This list may be modified depending on the conditions of the regional compulsory medical insurance program and the capabilities of the institution that provides the insured with a course of medical treatment. IN last days During the patient’s stay in the sanatorium under compulsory medical insurance, the effectiveness of the measures is analyzed and it is assessed whether the patient’s condition has improved.

How to get a ticket to a sanatorium under the compulsory medical insurance program: step-by-step instructions

In order to receive a referral from the commission for health improvement in a sanatorium institution, a specific confirmed diagnosis is required. Therefore, you will have to go through several stages:

  1. Contact your attending physician at the clinic at your place of residence, taking your compulsory medical insurance policy with you, and describe your complaints to him. If the diagnosis has not been confirmed earlier, the doctor will conduct an examination, give a referral for tests, and, if necessary, prescribe additional examinations.
  2. When the insured is or has been in hospital treatment, he will need a discharge summary confirming the diagnosis. In this case, it is enough to simply provide it to your therapist, and there is usually no need to undergo additional examination.
  3. Based on the examination, the attending physician issues a referral for medical selection for rehabilitation in a sanatorium.
  4. Then you need to wait for the documents to be reviewed by a medical commission, which decides to issue a conclusion on the presence or absence of indications and contraindications for undergoing a course of treatment in a medical institution.
  5. Based on this conclusion, the patient turns to his general practitioner for a certificate to obtain a travel voucher. . Its validity period is 6 months.

When it comes to free treatment under the compulsory medical insurance system, the insured cannot independently choose an institution. It all depends on what vouchers are available at the time the referral is issued. However

Documents for the commission

To successfully pass the medical commission, you need to be properly prepared, because the absence of any one document can be a reason for refusal. The following papers are provided for consideration:

  • compulsory medical insurance policy (copy);
  • civil passport or other identity card (copy);
  • referral from the attending physician;
  • epicrisis from the hospital or a conclusion from a therapist and other specialists indicating the diagnosis;
  • analysis for TORCH - infections and the presence of sexually transmitted diseases;
  • clinical blood and urine tests;
  • fluorography;
  • examination by a urologist (gynecologist).

Based on the results of consideration of the above documents, experts give either a positive or negative conclusion. The duration of treatment varies between 14-24 days.

On a note! After receiving a referral for treatment, the insured must receive a sanatorium-resort card from the therapist with indications for selecting a course of rehabilitation for recovery. In a preventive institution, procedures completed and treatment results will be recorded here.

Main reasons for refusal of treatment

As mentioned earlier, to get a referral you need to see a GP. He will conduct a preliminary diagnosis and clarify in advance all the indications and contraindications for treatment at the sanatorium.

A refusal to issue a referral for free health improvement under the compulsory medical insurance program can be received in the following cases:

  • in the presence of sexually transmitted diseases;
  • if urgent surgical treatment is necessary;
  • inability to take care of yourself;
  • oncological diseases;
  • mental disorders and disorders;
  • presence of alcohol or drug addiction;
  • serious heart rhythm disturbances, stage 3 hypertension;
  • severe form of bronchial asthma;
  • period of exacerbation of the disease or postoperative period;
  • anemia, poor circulation;
  • the presence of any pathology that does not allow for health procedures.

If the insured person believes that the refusal is unlawful, it is necessary to call the insurance company and clarify the nuances of providing free sanatorium treatment under compulsory medical insurance from its employees.

Program limitations you should be aware of

Claiming to pass free course recovery under the compulsory medical insurance program, the patient should know that some inconveniences await him.

Free treatment in a preventive institution has a number of features and limitations:

  • vouchers are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Thus, you can wait up to 4 months for your turn to arrive, and it’s good, if not longer, since the referral is only valid for six months;
  • the wards accommodate several vacationers - you will have to pay extra for a separate room out of your own pocket;
  • treatment is carried out only for a specific disease, i.e. there is a certain course that does not provide any additional procedures;
  • stay in a sanatorium does not exceed 16 days, even if the patient is indicated for a longer recovery.

Considering that recovery occurs free of charge, you can turn a blind eye to some discomfort, because according to reviews, the result is worth it.

Conclusion

You can speed up the body’s recovery after a long and serious illness by being treated in a medical institution. A two-week therapeutic course allows you to cope with the consequences of the disease much faster and improve your overall health.

The good news is that if you have a compulsory health insurance policy, you can do this for free. To do this, you need to obtain a conclusion from a medical commission and first be examined for indications and contraindications. It is worth noting that not only seriously ill patients, but also insured persons with widespread illnesses, including children, have the right to undergo treatment.

Is it possible not to pay at the medical center? cash, but is observation free? Can! One of these centers is located in the city of Odintsovo (Moscow region, Belarusian direction of electric trains).

Where is the medical center located?

Different branches are located in different places in the city of Odintsovo.

Address:

Medical center on Zhukova.

Moscow region, Odintsovo city, Zhukova street 9. Entrance on the right side. Public transport stop "Marinka".

Medical center on Tolubko.

Moscow region, Odintsovo city, Marshala Tolubko street 3, building 4.

Hospital (sanatorium) in Dorokhovo:

Moscow region, Ruzsky district, village Staroruzskoe, territory of the Dorokhovo sanatorium, 5th building.

Travel to the territory by car for 5-10 minutes is free. There is a fee to leave your car in the parking lot. 50 rubles per day.

You can simply come to the Dorokhovsky sanatorium (building 5 or other buildings), go to the reception desk and leave a request for treatment. They will call you before the appointed day and tell you what documents to bring. Accommodation per room for 2 people.

Hearing aids.

Moscow region, Odintsovo city, Vokzalnaya street 3 B.

Documents for registration for day hospital:
- documents with analyzes (a complete list will be provided);
- documents on the disease: fluorography, extracts from the card, etc.
- for women, a certificate from a female doctor is required;
- ECG;

Pros and cons of treatment at the world of sounds center.

Pros:

Treatment is absolutely free;

The only thing is that upon admission you can get tested for 1,500 rubles. Or you can hand them over at your place of residence at a clinic for free, or for money elsewhere and bring the documents to the center.

They can give you a ticket to the Dorokhovo sanatorium.
- polite staff;
- there is a dressing room and a toilet room;
- there are several branches in Odintsovo;

Minuses:

Sometimes there are a lot of people;

For the most part, this is the elderly generation who want to skip the line, take a place on the couch in advance, skip the line and are invited to the treatment room where they give injections.

There are not all doctors;
- not near Odintsovo station;

The center is not very advantageously located geographically. There are no free minibuses. From the center of Odintsovo you need to take 2 minibuses or walk, but it takes time.

When you arrive at the sanatorium for tests, you have to take the same tests again. The queues are like at a clinic.

There is a free bus on site that takes patients to the other side, where the main building is for procedures or you can use it and walk across the suspension bridge.

Accommodation in a hospital for 2 people, which is very inconvenient, because this is a stranger who can snore, talk on the phone, watch TV, and interfere with rest and sleep.

There are film screenings on site, a dance evening every 2 days, you can buy food, clothes, get to a neighboring city or museum by public transport.

Additionally:

For an additional fee, without a doctor’s prescription, you can get an ECG, ultrasound, massage, hardware massage, magnetic therapy session, put on an IV, or give an injection with a doctor’s prescription document (an official document with a stamp and signature).

During observation at a day hospital (this is when you come for procedures, usually in the first half of the day, and then you go home), an agreement is signed that for this period of treatment the person is observed only in this place.

The cash comes from your insurance company's policy.

Unfortunately, there is no direct connection to the Dorokhovo sanatorium from Odintsovo. You can get there by train in the Belarusian direction, and then by minibus or by taxi.

On the official website you can see complete information, phone numbers, and also see the vacancy section.

I will add on my own behalf. My mother-in-law was undergoing treatment for a diagnosis of arthrosis of the knee joint, and her friend had a stroke. A family friend came for treatment because he had back pain. Depending on the diagnosis, different treatments are prescribed. But mainly these are IV drips, injections, magnetic therapy, massage and exercise therapy (therapeutic and preventive physical education).

My story of meeting the world of sound medical center.

I was riding a bike and fell. I came to the trauma center and they took an x-ray, it turned out that it was broken. thumb on the foot. They put a plaster cast on. They told me to see him at a local clinic. We don't have a clinic, we have an outpatient clinic. In 2 weeks, they never changed the bandage, didn’t give me any injections, didn’t tell me that I needed to buy a crutch or anything at all.

After 2 weeks, the plaster was removed, but my finger was motionless and needed to be worked out (massaged). No one was going to do this at the outpatient clinic due to the lack of doctors.

I made an appointment with an orthopedist at the medical center, brought all the pictures (fluorography) and the doctor’s report. Since my foot hurt when walking, I was told to stay at home for another week and then come for treatment. During this time, collect everything Required documents. Then I arrived in the first half of the day - this is called a day hospital. I received injections in the buttock, massage, magnetic therapy, and went to exercise therapy procedures. By the end of the second week, the finger began to bend a little (after that it began to bend at all).

I am registered in another Moscow region, but I live near the city of Odintsovo. I don’t know how much this affects anything, but for information. Many people came from the neighboring town of Golitsino, saying that the local medicine was bad and the service was rude.

After treatment, I received a ticket to the Dorokhovo Sanatorium for 2 weeks. They gave me a ticket, but I stopped by after 6 months from the date of treatment at the center. I came home for the weekend. Thus, treatment can be completed once every 6 months.

Thank you very much to this rehabilitation center in Odintsovo! And that there is such an opportunity to be treated under the compulsory medical insurance policy for free. If we converted everything into money, the treatment would be expensive.

Why is treatment free? Because there is a law according to which any person can choose an insurance organization, a doctor and a medical institution. But this rule does not work everywhere and does not always work.

Currently, you can avoid being seen in regular clinics, or sit in line, but find a medical center that cooperates under the compulsory medical insurance policy. This program works in many cities, but not all people know about it.

How to get to the rehabilitation medicine center in Odintsovo? Call on hotline, choose a place and make an appointment with a doctor.
