Chop the onion, finely chop the cucumbers, combine all the products and add mayonnaise.

This version of crab salad can even be made in layers, which will greatly delight lovers of puff pastries. In this case, it is best to follow this order of layers:

  1. Diced crab sticks + thin layer of mayonnaise;
  2. A layer of rice + a layer of mayonnaise;
  3. Diced cucumber + mayonnaise;
  4. Finely chopped onion + thinly grease with mayonnaise;
  5. And finally, grate or cut the boiled eggs into small cubes;
  6. You can decorate the salad with herbs.

You can place the dish in a large communal salad bowl, placing several lettuce leaves on its bottom so that the openwork edges protrude on the sides of the plate, or you can place a large leaf on each serving plate and then lay out layers of lettuce on them. The last way is to create identical and beautiful portions than if guests took the salad from a common salad bowl, but it will also take a little more time to prepare.

Cheese delicacy with crab sticks and cucumber

Lovers of cheese in its various variations and dishes will simply be delighted with the original and unusual taste of this salad. The cheese goes well with cucumber, crab sticks and other products. The salad looks beautiful and will be a good decoration for any table - holiday or just lunch. We need a little imagination and the following ingredients:

  • 2 fresh cucumbers;
  • 3 pre-boiled chicken eggs;
  • 150 g cheese (it is better to take more or less durum varieties, but in general you can just take your favorite cheese);
  • 200 g sticks (you can use crab meat, it will be even more interesting and tastier);
  • Small onion;
  • Greens, pepper, salt - to taste;
  • Mayonnaise for salad dressing.

There is nothing unusual in the preparation; everything is done almost the same way as always for crab salad recipes, with the exception that the salad will be flaky. The exception here is that the cucumber is grated on a coarse grater and not chopped; you will need to squeeze out the excess juice from it. Onion finely chop or also grate (finely). Three boiled, cooled and peeled eggs on a coarse grater, cheese on a fine grater. Cut the crab sticks into medium cubes.

The salad is laid out in layers in the following order:

  1. Cucumbers;
  2. Crab sticks;
  3. Eggs;
  4. Greenery.

Grease each layer with a small amount of mayonnaise. After cooking, the salad must be placed in the refrigerator for an hour. Since we added fresh cucumber, also grated, even though the juice was squeezed out, there is still a lot of it left and it can drain, so this salad should not be stored for too long.

Crab salad with tomato and cucumber

You usually don't find tomatoes in crab salad recipes, but if you love them and always add them to salads, then this is not a problem and they go quite well with everything in this recipe. In addition, the dish turns out to be even more satisfying and healthy. For cooking, we will prepare the following products:

  • 8-10 sticks;
  • 2 fresh cucumbers;
  • 4 tomatoes;
  • 3 boiled eggs;
  • Season with mayonnaise to taste.

We cut crab sticks into small rings, all other products into cubes. Mixed and seasoned with mayonnaise, put in the refrigerator for an hour and now the salad is ready to serve. You can also add a little onion at your discretion. An excellent salad if you need to prepare something to eat a quick fix. It will be especially good in the summer, when fresh vegetables are available and you want something hearty and cool. Cheese and tomatoes also work well, so you can partially combine this with the previous recipe.

Crab salad with corn, cucumber and rice is quite popular in Russia due to the ease of its preparation and the low cost of ingredients. There are at least ten variations of this salad; each housewife “sees” this salad in her own way. I will not pretend to be original and present the classic restaurant version of the salad, which is distinguished by a wide range of taste and good satiety.

Of course, there is no real crab among the ingredients, we are not in a gourmet restaurant, crab sticks are used. Therefore, another name for the recipe is a salad with crab sticks, corn, cucumber and rice.

Ingredients

  • crab sticks 300 g
  • boiled rice 300 g
  • canned corn 250 g
  • eggs 4 pcs.
  • cucumbers 250 g
  • mayonnaise 100 g

For the salad, you should choose juicy and elastic sticks, carefully colored only on the outside. The first place in the list of ingredients should be minced fish, surimi and only in the last rows starch, flavor enhancers, etc.

You should only choose chilled crab sticks. Of course, the frozen product is cheaper, but I don’t recommend purchasing it for salad, because... When frozen, crab sticks lose too much moisture, become dry and fibrous, and unscrupulous sellers can freeze expired goods. You also cannot trust a product that is sold by weight, since it is impossible to find out by whom, when and from what products this “delicacy” was created.

With this amount of ingredients you get 1.4-1.5 kg of salad. It is enough to eat it for a couple of days.

Preparation

  1. Prepare all the ingredients needed for the salad. I cooked the rice in advance, so you can start assembling the salad right away. By the way, I used long-grain unparboiled rice, although steamed rice can also be used.
  2. When assembling a salad, I always follow simple rule“all components should be approximately the same size,” that is, an ingredient is chosen as a basis that goes into the salad without cutting, and all other ingredients are cut into pieces of the appropriate size. For example, Olivier salad must be made with exactly this approach.
  3. But let's get back to our salad. I chose the size of the corn grain as a basis. Cut the cucumbers and place them along with the corn (kernels only, no “water”!) and rice in a medium-sized bowl.
  4. Chop the boiled eggs (for salad I cook for 12-15 minutes) and add them to the rest of the ingredients. Mix carefully.
  5. Salt to taste, season with mayonnaise and put in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, let the salad steep. And now, the salad with crab sticks is ready. Bon appetit!
