After reading the ingredients included in the casserole recipe, your friends will probably immediately have a question. What spices are present in the seasoning for minced meat? Just in case you don’t find something similar in the store, I’ll let you know. It contains a huge number of different ingredients. I will list just a few of them: parika, nutmeg, garlic, coriander, marjoram, thyme and so on.

Now about the minced meat itself. Remember I boasted that? So, she faithfully worked for 1.5 years at the forefront of the culinary field and fell in the fight against meat products. There's nothing you can do, you'll have to get a new unit. Already I had my eye on the option, more reliable. In the meantime, I bought ready-made minced meat for rice casserole. Although I don’t trust these catering preparations, there’s nothing to be done; occasionally I allow myself to deviate from my principles. So, here I go.

How to cook a casserole in the oven

  1. I wash and boil the rice. When the water boils, add a spoonful of turmeric and salt. I reduce the heat and simmer it over low heat until fully cooked. The better it boils, the better to get an excellent result.
  2. I chop vegetables. It will be correct if they begin to resemble carrot cubes and onion squares.
  3. I fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil.
  4. Pour the above-mentioned seasoning into the minced meat and mix.
  5. Fry the vegetables with minced meat until cooked.
  6. Add mayonnaise to the cooled rice. As an alternative, you can use sour cream. But there will always be an alternative to it.
  7. Many may criticize mayonnaise, but without it the process is no longer the same.

  8. I beat the eggs here and mix the ingredients.
  9. Then, after greasing the mold with oil, I lay out a layer of rice mixture, on which I place the minced meat and vegetables.
  10. I grate the cheese. I sprinkle it on a layer of minced meat.
  11. Next I add the rice mixture again.
  12. At the end of assembling the culinary product, I sprinkle cheese on top.
      • long grain rice – 1 cup
      • minced meat – 400 grams.
      • selected eggs - 2 pieces.
      • onion – 2 small heads.
      • soy sauce – 4 tbsp. spoons.
      • fresh greens - a small bunch.
      • butter – 30 grams.
      • starch - 1.5-2 tbsp. spoons.
      • cheese – 120-130 grams (hard varieties).
      • mayonnaise - to your taste.
      • spices and salt - to taste.

Rice casserole with minced meat in the oven recipe:

Peel the onions, cut them into several pieces and place them in a blender bowl. Add dill and eggs to it.

Then grind everything thoroughly until smooth.


To the minced meat (I used chicken fillet) add your favorite spices to taste. Lightly salt.
Add the prepared mixture of onions, eggs and fresh herbs to it.


Mix all ingredients thoroughly. The mass turns out very tender and airy.


Next, we wash the rice cereal in several waters and boil it in slightly salted water until half cooked, this takes me about ten minutes. Drain the water from the cereal, add starch (corn or potato), and add soy sauce.


Mix the rice and place it in a baking dish, pre-greased with sunflower oil. I press the rice tightly with a spoon and form small sides.


Spread mayonnaise on top of the rice using a pastry brush.


Now add the prepared minced meat, distributing it evenly over the entire surface of the rice.
And put everything in an oven preheated to 180*C for half an hour.


Then carefully remove the casserole dish and spread thin slices of butter over the entire surface.


Sprinkle grated cheese on top. And put the dish back in the oven for another 20-25 minutes.


Before serving, you can optionally sprinkle the finished rice casserole with green onions or any other herbs of your choice.


Serve in portions, cutting into pieces. with minced meat, prepared according to this recipe, will feed the whole family deliciously and without much hassle at the stove - an excellent solution for lunch or dinner! The dish is quite budget-friendly, made from the simplest and most affordable products, but at the same time nutritious, aromatic and very tasty!
